Do you remember reading Christmas stories as a kid? The whimsy of the season was about a Christmas miracle, snowy streets, an abundance of treats, and a bearded Santa Claus. That was the Christmas we fantasised about, especially in India, which was a bit too far for Santa’s visit. Except it’s 2025 and your letters have finally found their way to the North Pole. Republic of Zoofari in Gurugram has curated the most extravagant and enchanting Christmas Wonderland. Here, you can enjoy the magic of a Christmas parade, meet Mr and Mrs Santa Claus, take a carnival ride, sleigh down a snowy hill, and even encounter a naughty Grinch trying to steal your churros. Save your calendar from December 19 to 28 to make your dreams come true.
Republic of Zoofari – Christmas Wonderland
Blending joy and responsibility, the Republic of Zoofari is a three-acre experience centre with over 800 rescued animals. It includes a petting zoo, cascading fountains, joy rides, community workshops, and artisan installations. The mini township with postcard-worthy buildings and endless lush green turns into a true European affair during its annual Christmas Wonderland. It brings a certain consciousness into the luxury of experiencing the fantasy within the reality of the world. As kids scream with joy, you smile with the nostalgia of your childish dreams coming true.
Everything to do at Zoofari Wonderland
There is much to do at the Republic of Zoofari Christmas Wonderland. You can fill your time shopping at the many wooden chalets, indulging in delectable food pop-ups, beating the chill of the air with mulled wine, or playing your heart out in the Snow Room. However, our favourite is the special meet & greet with snow-bearded Santa and Mrs Claus, who await with special gifts. Moreover, there is a secret letter box where you can pour your heart out to the Clauses, who delight you with conspicuous ‘HO HO HO’. As Santa brings out his special treats, the good old Mrs Claus calms your nerves with her magical cookies.
This Christmas Wonderland is all about getting your creativity flowing. You can attend their endless workshops, paint cutesy Christmas tree decorations, design bags and keychains or build your very own gingerbread house. Nevertheless, the very essence of the Republic of Zoofari brings you face-to-face with rescued animals that you can pet and feed. There is also a special Christmas adoption zone where you can stuff and take a fluffy friend home (no, you can’t take a real wild animal). Live music and mascots like Rudolf the reindeer and Olaf the snowman keep the energy high throughout. In addition, there is the unmissable Christmas parade where elves tap dance, Santa drives his sleigh, and jugglers skillfully play around.
With gigantic gingerbread men, teddy bears, artistically adorned Christmas trees, and life-size candy canes hanging around, your Instagram will get buzzing with endless photos. Head to the Toy Factory, where elves pack the haughtiest presents or get your hands into slime or a sensory tray. From outdoor playzones and bouncy houses to parachute play and pom pom dance, there are endless things to experience at no additional cost.
